<br> <br><p>Our Stove Adapter is constructed with a 26 gauge steel outer wall and a corrosion resistant, 400 stainless steel inner liner. The double wall construction allows a 1/4" air space between the inner and outer pipes to provide superior insulating value to accommodate higher flue gas temperatures, while creating an outer shell that remains cool to the touch. Our Stove Adapter allows most wood burning stoves to be connected to Selkirk's DSP Stovepipe and may be required to adapt some stove flue outlets to double wall stove pipe.<br></p><p>The DSP Stove Adaptor's inner wall fits into the collar on the top of the stove, and the outside fits over the outside wall of the stove collar. The airspace between the inner and outer wall of the adaptor is 1/2" (not 1/4" as in the double-wall pipe itself) to allow some variation in stove collar size. The installed stove adaptor displaces 4 1/4" of pipe.
